Es un recurso que permite registrar, conservar, consultar y difundir la producción de conocimiento académico y científico de la Red Summa Education. Se caracteriza por ser de acceso abierto, respetar el derecho de autor y utilizar el autoarchivo como metodología para el registro de la información.
This research tries to know the levels of critical thinking of Barranqui- lla high school students, taking into account their abilities, the ways of approaching to strengthen this ability suggested by the institution in official documents and the teaching testimony. The methodological design is based on a qualitative approach study, under ethnography and descriptive typology, using surveys and interviews. Among the results, it is necessary to appreciate that the students present low levels in the competencies that integrate critical thinking, also giving a failure by the teachers of the guidelines established in the institutional documents for the strengthening of the skills of understanding and critical posture after reading texts. It is suggested, especially in the course of the pande- mic, to propose alternatives to contribute to the strengthening of skills in the Spanish Language subject.
